I have been writing about wine, sake, beer, and similar beverages since 2004; my work has been published in a variety of consumer and trade publications. I’m also a former sommelier and in September 2013 I became the U.S. marketing manager for Wines of South Africa. In that role I promote South African wines in the U.S. market; you can learn more here. I also host the Wines of South Africa podcast, available at Apple Podcasts and most other major podcast apps, and can be heard on most Wednesdays at 1pm Eastern hosting a chat with a South African winemaker on Instagram Live (follow @wosa_usa to view).
